Easter Dining Throughout the State

Where to grab Easter dinner around the state.

Whether you are looking to have brunch, lunch or dinner the following restaurants will be open Sunday, April 5 for Easter. Some may include a visit from the Easter bunny.

A three-course brunch will be offered at Agricola Community Eatery, 11 Witherspoon Street, Princeton form 9:30 AM to 3 PM; $35; children ages 12 and under, $35, plus tax and gratuity. Easter dinner will be served from 4 to 9 PM with special a la carte selections. Reservations: 609-921-2798.

Ama Ristorante, Driftwood Cabana Club, 1485 Ocean Avenue, Sea Bright, is serving a seasonally inspired special menu with spring Easter dishes; 1 to 7 PM. Reservations: 732-530-9760.

On Sunday, March 29, take photos with the Easter Bunny and enjoy fun contests and prizes, including a Jelly Bean Counting Contest at a pre-Easter Sunday a la carte brunch that will be held at the Bernards Inn, 27 Mine Brook Road, Bernardsville; 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. On Easter Sunday, the Bernards Inn will host a Grand Easter Buffet in the Fenwick Ballroom. 10 AM to 4 PM; $65; children 6 to 12, $35; ages 2 to 5, $15; under 2 years complimentary. A three-course prix-fixe dinner will be hosted in the dining room. 12:30 to 6:30 PM; $75; children 2 to 12, $35; under 2 years complimentary. The Easter Bunny will also be visiting the restaurant. Bibi’z Restaurant Lounge, 284 Center Avenue, Westwood will offer a brunch buffet with seatings at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM for $40; children, $20. A prix-fixe, four-course dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7 PM; $45; wine pairing $20; an a la carte menu will be available for children. Reservations: 201-722-8600.

Catherine Lombardi, 3 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, will celebrate Easter from 1 to 6 PM with a full dinner menu along with specials including Easter pie. Reservations: 732-296-9463.

Celebrate Easter with family and friends at Chakra, W 144 Rt 4 E, Paramus, with a three-course, prix-fixe menu. Noon to 5 PM; $42 plus tax and gratuity. Reservations: 201-556-1530.

The Gables, 212 Centre Street, Beach Haven, which will be celebrating their tenth year, will serve a special four-course holiday menu with choice of entrée and dessert table. 11:30 AM to 7 PM; $55; children’s menu available. Reservations: 609-492-3553.

Haven Restaurant and Bar, 2 Main Street (for GPS, put 45 River Road), Edgewater Harbor, Edgewater will serve a three-course, prix-fixe dinner on Easter Sunday for $65. Reservations: 201-943-1900.

Brunch will be offered at the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, One East Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus from 10 AM to 3 PM with seatings on the hour. There will be a complimentary Mimosa or Bellini for adults, and children enjoying Easter Brunch will receive a colorful, sweet treat as they depart.  Reservations: 201-445-4115.

Liberty House, Liberty State Park, 78 Audrey Zapp Drive, Jersey City, will offer a brunch buffet from 11 AM to 6 PM; $55; $25 for children, excluding tax and any gratuity. Reservations: 201-395-0300. On April 4, their Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held from 11 AM to 2 PM and the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance along with music and entertainment. The day will begin with cookie-decorating, Easter-egg dying and other fun arts and crafts.

Easter Sunday will be celebrated at Morris Tap and Grill, 500 Rt. 10 West, Randolph, with a buffet brunch from 11 AM to 6 PM; $32; children 12 and under $15. Reservations: 973-891-1776.

Perona Farms, 350 Andover-Sparta Road, Andover, will offer an Easter buffet from 11 AM to 5 PM; $47.95; $17.95 children under 12; $3 little ones in high chairs. Gratuity additional. Reservations: 973-729-6161.

A three-course menu ($75); four-course garden menu ($75); six-course tasting menu ($95) and a children’s menu will be offered on Easter at Restaurant Nicholas, 160 Route 35 S, Middletown. Reservations: 732-345-9977.

The Ryland Inn, 115 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse Station, will have an Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday for children ages 10 and under; 11 AM to noon. After the Easter Egg Hunt, an Easter Sunday brunch buffet will be served from noon to 5 PM; $59; $25 children, excluding tax and any gratuity. Reservations: 908-534-4011.

The Park Steakhouse, 151 Kinderkamack Road, Park Ridge, is accepting reservations for Easter Sunday from 2 to 8 PM; 201-930-1300.

A brunch buffet and complimentary Champagne mimosas will be served at The Park West Tavern, 30 Oak Street, Ridgewood. 10:30 AM to 3 PM;$35. Reservations: 201-445-5400.

Easter Brunch will be held in the kitchen of Rat’s Restaurant, Grounds for Sculpture, 16 Fairgrounds Road, Hamilton. 11 AM to 5 PM; $59; children ages 5 to 12, $22. Reservations: 609-584-7800.

Restaurant Serenade, 6 Roosevelt Avenue, Chatham, will be offer a three-course menu including fresh and local hen eggs, house-cured bacon, and fresh herbs from the garden. 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM; $69; children 10 and younger $35, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations: 973-701-0303.

Salt Creek Grille, 4 Bingham Avenue, Rumson, will celebrate Easter Sunday with an a la carte dinner and spectacular view of the Navesink River from noon to 7 PM. A children’s menu is also available. Reservations: 732-933-9272.

Hop aboard the Spirit of New Jersey and meet the Easter Bunny while you cruise on the Hudson River. A lunch buffet with kid-friendly options such as pizza, chicken fingers and French fries will be offered. Noon to 2 PM; $61.90, children, $37.95, under 3 years old, free.

A three-course a la carte Easter Brunch will be served at Stage Left, 5 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, from 11 to 2:30 PM; $39.95; children 12 and under pay their age. Reservations: 732-828-4444.

RESTAURANT GALA AT BALLY’S, ATLANTIC CITY
Forty restaurants will be in attendance at the Restaurant Gala that will be held at Bally’s, 1900 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, hosted by Atlantic Cape Community College. JERSEY CARES CHARITY EVENT
