Elijah’s Promise Farm-to-Table Series

Elijah’s Promise, an organization that works to break the cycle of poverty, will host a dinner series in Somerset.

Elijah’s Promise  (an organization that works to break the cycle of poverty, alleviate hunger and change lives) and the Promise Culinary School will host a Wednesday evening farm-to-table series at Better World Market, 1743 Rt 27 at Skillmans Lane, Somerset. The following menus will be served:

July 29: Cold dips, appetizers and fun summer cocktails, a “Relaxing Summer Cocktail Party,” with chef Chrissy.

August 26: Raw-coconut bliss ball with raw Butterfinger ice cream and more, “Raw Food using Techniques of Dehydrations and Alternative Cream-Based Options,” with chef Armando Miranda.

September 30: “Fermentation & Implementation with Anthony Capece, Elijah’s Promise Urban Agriculture & Food Systems Coordinator.

6:30 to 8 PM; $15 donation includes food, demonstration and tasting. RSVP one week prior to the event to chef Pearl at [email protected].
