Essex Junction in Bloomfield Opening in Mid-January

The gastropub will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner all day, as well as happy hour and weekend brunch.

Essex Junction Craft Kitchen & Bar, a gastropub, expects to open in mid January at 90 Washington Street, Bloomfield, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, along with happy hour and weekend brunch. The restaurant is owned by Experience Management Group/Partners: Jeremy Goldberg, CEO and Gordon Pratt, chairman. Consulting chef is Doug Vincent, who has worked at Windows on the World and Brandywine Steakhouse.

House-made signature dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner with quality ingredients at accessible prices will be offered. Some entrees include: beef short-rib pappardelle; manchego-­crusted cod with oven-­roasted tomatoes, panzanella salad; bone-in rib steak with Parmesan fries or side salad; and Southern fried chicken with Grandma’s cornbread and watermelon

Essex Junction will open at 6 AM Monday through Friday and will have a special breakfast window with pre-order options for area commuters.

NEIL MICHAEL’S STEAKHOUSE
Neil Michael’s Steakhouse, formerly in Atlantic Highlands, has relocated to 1104 Rt 36, Hazlet (732-291-0711). The menu offers seafood, chicken, pork and steaks, which are available with their signature toppings such as butter poached lobster meat, bacon-wrapped scallop, maître de hotel butter and chipotle dry rub.

Nooshi Jon, a casual Mediterranean has opened at 501 Route 17 South, Paramus (201-644-4008); BYO.

OXTAIL PHO AND BAHN MI
Oxtail Pho and Bahn Mi, a Vietnamese restaurant, has opened 319 E Jimmie Leeds Road, Galloway; BYO, 609-380-4122.

SABRINA’S CAFE
Serving breakfast all day, lunch and dinner, Sabrina’s Café has opened at 714 Haddon Avenue, Collingswood (856-214-0723); BYO.

YARD HOUSE
Yard House, featuring an extensive beer menu and food, has opened in the Moorestown Mall 400 Route 38, Moorestown (856-722-5620).
