Fins Bar & Grille Swims into Cape May

There is a new fish in town with the opening of Fins Bar & Grille, 142 Decatur Street, Cape May (609 884-3449). Menu items include: lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, local crispy calamari, local stuffed flounder, crab cakes, surf & turf and grilled shrimp skewers. Non-fish eaters can opt for grilled chicken, pizza, steak frites and cavatelli primavera.

OTHER NJ RESTAURANT OPENINGS
4 Seasons Mediterranean Restaurant, featuring food from the Riviera and coastal regions of Italy, Spain, and the South of France has opened at 322 S Main Street, Wharton (862-244-9777). Open Tuesday through Sunday, 11:30 AM to 11 PM.

Hooked Café, 835 Belmar Plaza, Belmar, is open from 5:30 AM to 3 PM daily for breakfast and lunch (732-280-0333).

Meng Gao Yang BBQ, a Korean restaurant, has opened at 1836 Rt 27, Edison (732-339-8899).

Mi Rancho, a Mexican restaurant, has opened at 299 Queen Anne Road Teaneck (201-530-7727). There is also a location in Hackensack.

Twenty-four craft beers on draft and coal-fired pizza are featured at Mother’s Ale House & Grill, 95 Mountain View Boulevard, Wayne (973-633-7400).

CLOSINGS

The Facebook page of The Kitchen, 21 East Palisade Avenue, in Englewood stated: “After over six years in Englewood, we will be closing The Kitchen. I would like to thank all my loyal customers who helped make us so successful. It has been a wonderful experience.

While all good things come to an end, that often paves the way for new beginnings. A new exciting restaurant will be open in that space next month. The menu will be totally different, but the quality will remain the same. We will keep you all posted.”
