RESTAURANT CLOSING

The Fireplace • Paramus

This 65-year-old Paramus institution announced its final day of operation in late July. The restaurant was a mainstay for burgers, sandwiches and fries. Due to increased difficulties in running the restaurant, as stated in an Instagram post made by the owners, they made the decision to shut down for good, telling guests “it has been an honor serving you.” On its final day, hundreds of Fireplace lovers lined up to enjoy one last meal. The line wrapped around the parking lot as a testament to how much it will be missed.
