On Sunday, October 9, Nina and Jonathan White of Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse, 369 Stamets Road, Milford, will host an afternoon on the lawn of the farmhouse, listening to great jazz and enjoying great food. The farm store will be open for purchase of cheeses, breads and burgers made with the farm’s own pastured meats and produce from the garden. They will also be roasting a pig for pork sandwiches. 1 to 4 PM; no charge for the music, but reservations are requested, and we recommend that burgers and pork sandwiches be reserved in advance. CRAFT BREW FEST POURS INTO JERSEY CITY
On Saturday, October 15, over 150 styles of craft beer, food, and music will be featured at the Harborside Craft Brew Fest that will be held at the Harborside Atrium, 34 Exchange Place, and outside along the Harborside Waterfront Esplanade in Jersey City. There will over 15 New Jersey breweries in attendance, including Jersey City’s own Departed Soles, Hoboken’s 902 Brewing, and many others. Guests will enjoy unlimited craft beer samples, paired with live music and food from the Cow and the Curd, Urban Lobster Shack, San Matteo Pizza, Mac Truck NYC & Nuchas. & more!
