Just Jersey Food Truck & Music Festival

The festival will benefit Roxbury Food Pantry, GiGi’s Playhouse & Morris Rugby; plus other food events.

On Saturday, June 27, A Just Jersey Food Truck & Music Festival will be held at the Waterloo Village Concert Field, 1053 Waterloo Road, Stanhope to benefit the Roxbury Food Pantry, GiGi’s Playhouse & Morris Rugby. 10 AM to 7 PM; $5; ($4, if you bring a canned or boxed non-perishable food item to donate to the Roxbury Food Pantry) children under 12 free. The first 250 people who bring more than one item for the Food Pantry will receive a T-shirt from festival sponsor Pazoo.com. Parking is free.

Over 30 trucks will be in attendance offering everything from American to Puerto Rican, Thai, Cajun, and Creole cuisines. Other gourmet offerings include: Lobster Rolls, Artisan Pizzas, Empanadas, Tacos, BBQ, Cuban Sandwiches, Exotic Meats, Steak, Sliders, Meatballs, Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheese, Batter Fried Cheese Curds, Belgian Waffles, Cheesecake, Cupcakes and much more. Additionally, Morris Tap & Grill, Randolph will be sponsoring a Craft Beer & Wine Bar featuring libations from such New Jersey breweries as Bolero Snort, Ramstein & Flying Fish.

There will be vendors, a mechanical bull and activities for children, including face painting and an obstacle course.

June 27th is the first of three scheduled Food Truck & Music Festivals taking place at Waterloo Village Concert Field this season. The others will be held on August 8th and October 3rd.

PIG ROAST AT STONE HOUSE, WARREN

FARM TO FORK DINNER

A Farm-to-Fork dinner will be held at Maritime Parc, Liberty State Park, Jersey City. Executive chef Chris Siversen will present the dinner and honorees will be Melody Kettle, founder of the Montclair Food & Wine Festival, and Benjamin Walmer, Founding Architect & Creative Director of Broadloom. 6:30 PM; $250. FARM-TO-TABLE MIDDLE EASTERN DINNER

Executive chef Chase Gerstenbacher from Brick Farm Market, 65 East Broad Street, Hopewell, will prepare a five-course, farm-to-table, Middle East dinner: 7 to 10 PM; $75 plus tax; BYO. Reservations: 609-466-6500.

 

MONDAY, JUNE 29 THROUGH SEPTEMBER ON MONDAYS

NJ WINE SCHOOL

Every Monday through September 14 (12 weeks) a French Wine Scholar certification program/class will be held at Teak On The Hudson Restaurant, 16 Hudson Place, Hoboken. Six wines will be tasted at each class and participants will learn about all of the main wine regions of France as well as food pairing information. 7 to 10 PM; $1260.
