Local Smoke BBQ Opening Third Location

The restaurant will open in Red Bank by mid-April.

Rosie will be on vacation until mid-March. Guest blogger Tammy LaGorce will post in her place, unless otherwise noted.

Local Smoke BBQ is opening its third location in Red Bank. The owners signed a lease at 244 W. Front St., in the spot last rented by Delfinis Deli. Local Smoke is shooting for a mid-April opening.

Bwe Kafé is now open at 140 River Dr. S., in Jersey City. The name means “drink coffee” in Cajun Creole, and this is its second location (also visit at 1002 Washington St. in Hoboken). Part of Bwe’s mission is to support the youth of Haiti. Every cup of pour-over or Japanese slow drip is made with coffee beans roasted by Philadelphia’s La Colombe, a favorite of caffeine addicts from here to Port-au-Prince.  To contact Bwe, call 201-683-0045.
