Openings and Closings

Changes in the dining scene in Hoboken, Bloomfield, Livingston and more.

Braun’s Tavern & Dining Room is scheduled to open Tuesday, April 17 at 289 Glenwood Avenue in Bloomfield.

The space, which had been home to Satis, is being reimagined as a revival of Braun’s Cocktail Tavern & Lounge, a former Prohibition Era gathering place. The chef-owner, Michael Fiorianti, plans to use locally sourced ingredients in the menu for the new restaurant, which will have a 40-foot bar. Braun’s will serve lunch, weekend brunch and dinner.  973-743-1097; braunstavern.com.
