“No Bluffin'”: Those are the words on the back of the T-shirts the servers wear at the new Bluff City BBQ, 21 Midland Avenue in Montclair. The food of the real Bluff City (Memphis) helped inspire Montclair resident Scott Hermo to leave his career as a Wall Street bond trader and devote himself to opening this restaurant. Executive chef Patrick Pierre-Jerome serves a BBQ sampler of pulled pork, rib and brisket, as well as shrimp and grits, fried chicken, bananas Foster and a host of Southern specialties.
