Arturo will make the following appearances:

On April 6, he’ll be at a cocktail reception, illustrated lecture, and signing of his new book, Jewish Home Cooking: Yiddish Recipes Revisited, at Congregation Anshe Emeth, 201 South Third Ave, Highland Park. There will be a VIP cocktail party from 5 to 6:30 PM and a lecture at 6:30 PM, followed by a tasting of recipes from the book. VIP cocktail party $118 per person, $218 per couple, including a copy of the book; lecture and tasting reception $60 per person, not including a copy of the book. To register call 732-545-6482.

On April 9, Arthur will teach a cooking class highlighting recipes from Jewish Home Cooking at Kings Cooking Studio, 450 Route 206 North, Bedminster. All of the dishes to be demonstrated are appropriate for Passover (and beyond). 6:30 to 9 PM; $100. For reservations call 908-719-4966.

On April 13, Arthur will be at a brunch, illustrated lecture, and book signing at Temple Emanu-El, 100 James Street, Edison. “Coffee and…” at 1 PM; lecture at 2:15 PM; $25. For reservations call 732-549-4442 ext 11.

And on April 15, you’ll find Arthur at a book signing and talk at Barnes and Noble, 3981 Route 9, Freehold. 7 to 9 PM; free. For more information call 732-409-2929.
On May 5, a charity event, Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation, will be held at Birchwood Manor, 111 North Jefferson Road, Whippany, to raise money for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and Eva’s Village. 6 to 9 PM; $85 in advance; $95 at the door. For tickets call 973-772-4474.
