MORTON’S THE STEAKHOUSE AND THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION
Every Sunday through September, guests at Morton’s the Steakhouse, Shops at Riverside, Hackensack, can order the $19.78 Morton’s Prime Sirloin Burger, and five dollars from the price of each burger-and-fries entrée will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This initiative is in honor of Morton’s the Steakhouse’s 30th anniversary; the goal is to raise enough funds to grant the wishes of 30 children who are living with life-threatening medical conditions. For reservations call 201-487-1303.

READY, SET, GRILL!
All-natural beef, pork, buffalo, and duck hot dogs, made with meat from animals raised on a vegetarian diet with no antibiotics or growth hormones, have been introduced by Ariane Daguin, co-owner of D’Artagnan, Newark, a leading purveyor of foie gras and other specialty organic poultry and game products. Not sure which to order? Then try the sampler consisting of one twelve-ounce package of each of the four kinds of hot dogs. For more information and to purchase log on to www.dartagnan.com.
Amanti Vino, a boutique wine store, has become twice as beautiful, as it has broken down its walls at 30 Church Street, Montclair, and expanded, doubling its number of selections. It now has a dedicated classroom space available for wine seminars, a larger tasting bar, and a temperature-controlled “cellar” with old vintages, hard-to-find gems, allocated wines, and large-format bottles.
