Slow Food Dinner at Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen

This event will help send chef Lekberg and Theresa Dinan, treasurer, Slow Food Northern NJ as delegates to the Terra Madre & Salone del Gusto in Italy.

On Tuesday August 9, a dinner curated by chef Andrea Lekberg, chef/owner of The Artist Baker, in Morristown, will be held at Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen, 110 South Street, Morristown. This event will help send chef Lekberg and Theresa Dinan, treasurer, Slow Food Northern NJ as delegates to the Terra Madre & Salone del Gusto that will be held in September in Turin, Italy. Proceeds will also benefit the SFNNJ school and community garden fund. The following dinner highlighting seasonal Northern New Jersey cuisine:

Oysters from New Jersey’s Forth North Oyster Farm and homemade oyster crackers.

Pizza created by Elana Iaciofano. Elana is Colavita USA’s creative director and culinary instructor.

Salad made by Andrea Lekberg featuring fresh greens from Grow it Green Morristown.

Kevin Sippel from Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen will be creating a seasonal pasta dish.

Erica Leahy, Pastry Chef at JHBK and “Queen of Ice Cream,” will finish off the meal with an ice cream dessert.

A selection of affordable wines chosen by Chris Cannon will be available by the glass or bottle for purchase.  Coffee and tea included. Vegetarian options available.
