Fall Truffle Menu, Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas

Throughout the month of November, Spuntino is highlighting one of Italian truffles in a specialty tapas menu. Served in small plates and paired with the finest Italian wines, these truffle inspired dishes range from pastas to fish. The menu includes truffle burrata (served with sweet figs), pappardelle (tossed in a truffle alfredo sauce), striped bass (paired with a truffle orange pepper salad), filet mignon (with whole grain mustard truffle cream sauce), and a dark chocolate mousse (in a tart shell with Chantilly cream). Enjoy Thanksgiving Eve with a social dis(dancing) party hosted at Four City Brewing Co. in Orange with special guests DJ Rebexx and DJ Butta of Blissed Out Beats. Two hour dance sessions are available: from 6–8 pm or 8–10 pm, each with the availability of two music channels. Included in the night of silent dancing is the tasting of two new beers. The General Admission package ($25) includes headphones and two medium 9 oz. pours, and the Upgrade ($45) includes the latter, plus a Swag Bag (including a four-pack of beer or a City t-shirt and 13 oz  tulip glass). Enjoy live trivia every Tuesday at this South Jersey bar and grill. Thanksgiving Dinner, Rat’s Restaurant
November 26

A special menu will be offered from noon to 7pm on Thanksgiving Day for those who want to save both time and energy when it comes to the holiday. Sit down for a multiple course dinner that will leave you just as satisfied as preparing everything yourself. The menu includes first course options like butternut squash soup and roasted root vegetable salad, wild mushroom trofie pasta and burrata for second course options, and main course dishes like maple-brined turkey breast and slow-roasted prime rib. Desserts include Thanksgiving classics, like pumpkin and apple pie, as well as a vanilla crème brûlée. Check out the full menu online and make sure to make a reservation beforehand. Dine-in only.

Holiday Bazaar, Bourré
December 5–6, noon–5 pm

This New Orleans inspired restaurant wants you to kick off the holiday season with shopping, craft cocktails, and delicious food. Presented by the Asbury Park Bazaar and Ocean City shop Peace of Wood, the event will feature local and regional vendors who will showcase their unique crafts and gifts-just in time for holiday gift buying. The event will feature cocktails and food from Bourré’s menu, including Fried Pickle Chips, Cajun Fries, and more classic cajun bites. Go online for more information, and don’t forget your mask!
