To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, this waterfront resort is organizing a special dinner. The four-course dinner will have an Irish whiskey paired with each dish for $75 per person, reservations required. The menu includes seared turbot paired with Jameson Black Barrel whiskey, seared duck breast with Dingle Single Malt #3, roasted leg of lamb with Red Breast 12-year Cask Strength, and for dessert, a warm Irish apple cake (with a brown butter crumb topping and caramel) paired with Writer’s Tears Copper Pot. This Belmar bar is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with an outdoor party. In true Irish fashion, bagpipers will be there to perform as well as other live performers staggered throughout the day. EightyTwenty Smash Burger Pop-Up, Westwood

A new traveling burger pop-up hosted by chef Matthew Borgersen, who has been taking a break as executive chef at Caffe Anello, will be coming to Westwood in March. The pop-up is inspired by Hackensack’s White Manna burgers, and are made with meat being smashed on a griddle, topped with American cheese, and served on a potato roll slider. EightyTwenty will be popping up all over Bergen county, but the first dates will be Sunday, March 14 and Sunday, March 28 at Caffe Anello’s location.

Austrian wines are the highlight of this Zoom dinner, where wine experts Peter Schleimer and Johannes Hirsch, as well as Austrian personality Hans Reisetbauer, will join the call. The prix fixe menu starts with artichokes and asparagus with parmigiano-reggiano crisp, the second course is an olive oil poached tuna, the main course is a choice between a pistachio crusted pork chop and cioppino, and dessert includes a lemon tart with elderflower meringue. Each dish is paired with one or two different wines, and for an additional price you can add schnapps to your drink menu.
