Taste of Hope to Benefit American Cancer Society

TASTE OF HOPE
On Wednesday, October 26, A Taste of Hope charity event to benefit the American Cancer Society will be held at the Cherry Valley Country Club, 125 Country Club Road, Skillman. Culinary co-chairs are: chef Eric LeVine (chef/partner Morris Tap & Grill and Paragon Tap & Table), pastry chef Michelle Spell (Ava’s Cupcakes) and/or Nancy Marino (American Cancer Society, senior development manager and distinguished events). 6 PM; $100. VIP ticket holders ($150) will have admission to a private food and wine pairing and receive gift bags. NEW JERSEY HARVEST WINE FESTIVAL
On Friday, November 4, the New Jersey Harvest Wine festival will be held at the Hilton Short Hills, 41 John F Kennedy Parkway, Short Hills. The general admission ticket includes over 150 wines to taste; food consisting of cheeses, breads, crudités and dips, hot pastas and passed desserts; live music; and a wine glass. 7:30 to 10 PM; $69. Net proceeds from this event will benefit Family Promise of Bergen County, an organization dedicated to alleviating the plight of the homeless in Bergen County. SAVOR BORGATA
On Friday November 4 and Saturday, November 5, The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, One Borgata Way, Atlantic City will feature Savor Borgata, a food and wine event featuring special dinners, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, classes and much more. The following chefs will be in attendance: Wolfgang Puck, Geoffrey Zakarian, Michael Schulson, Michael Symon, Thomas Biglan, Thaddeus DuBois and Marc and Greg Sherry. Information at their website.
