Dinner To Benefit Hunterdon Nonprofit

Save the date for a French-inspired dinner to support a good cause this fall.

SAVE THE DATE: A DINNER OF HOPE, HELP AND HEALING

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1

A Dinner of Hope, Help and Healing will be held at the Trump National Golf Club, 900 Lamington Road, Bedminster, to benefit SAFE in Hunterdon County, an organization that serves victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children. This five-course dinner will feature the cuisine of France and will be paired with wines from Trump’s vineyards. Executive chef James Haverstroh from Trump National Golf Club will present the cocktail hour with other participating chefs to be announced. 6:30 PM; $250. FRENCH-INSPIRED DINNER AT ESCAPE, MONTCLAIR

Chef Bryan Gregg, owner of Escape 345 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, will present a five-course, French-inspired dinner on with chef Manuel Perez of Peacock Inn and chef Robert Ubhaus of the soon-to-open Redux, chef Anthony Bucco of Restaurant Latour and chef Thomas Ciszak of Chakra and Blue Morel. This dinner will benefit cancer research and treatment in New Jersey, a cause especially important to chef Gregg, a cancer survivor. The following menu will be presented: Niçoise de Thon (Tuna Niçoise) – chef Perez; Tartare de Boeuf (Beef Tartare) – chef Ubhaus; Truite Amandine (Trout Almondine) – chef Bucco; Navarin D’Agneau (Lamb Navarin) – chef Gregg; Charlotte Royale Aux Fraises (Strawberry Charlotte) – chef Ciszak. 7PM; $89 with 50% of the proceeds donated to the Carol G. CHEESE & CHOCOLATE PARTY

A fundraiser featuring wine, cheese, chocolate vendors and live music will be held at the Hamilton Stage for the Performing Arts, 360 Hamilton Street, Rahway, to benefit the Union County Performing Arts Center. 5:30 to 9:30 PM; $25 advance, $30 at the door.
