Wine Events: How the Shore Beckons in Winter

Jersey Shore Wine Weekend will take place Friday, February 24 and Saturday, Feb. 25 at The Breakers Hotel at 1507 Ocean Avenue in Spring Lake.

In Atlantic City, Tropicana’s Jersey Shore Wine Festival will take place from noon to 6 pm Saturday, February 25 and from noon to 4 pm Sunday, February 26 at the casino located at 2831 Boardwalk. The festival will offer seminars, tastings, entertainment and food. Admission: $25. tropicana.net

Haddonfield Uncorked, spotlighting South Jersey’s wineries, will take place from 1 to 4 pm Saturday, February 25 throughout downtown Haddonfield. The event is free; must be 21 or over to participate. downtownhaddonfield.com

In Bedminster, the Pluckemin Inn’s Burgundy Walk-Around Tasting is scheduled from 2:30 to 4 pm Saturday, February 25 at the restaurant located at 10 Pluckemin Way. Registration fee is $25. 908-658-9292. pluckywineshop.com

Sussex State Fair Chapter of the American Wine Society will present A History of California in Six Glasses from 6:45 to 9 pm at the adminstration building on the State Fairgrounds, 37 Plains Road in Augusta. In Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon and Mercer counties, 10 wineries are joining to put on the Wine and Art Trail Weekend, presenting the work of local artists as well as tastings of their wines. The event takes place Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12. Details: VintageNorthJersey.com
