Viaggio Ristorante, offering rustic Italian cuisine that focuses on using high-quality products from nearby farms, has opened at 1055 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne; BYO. The menu begins with small pickings for the table to share, such as marinated olives and charcuterie followed by an antipasto course such as cauliflower fritti, a primi course featuring homemade pastas, including pork agnolotti with blistered tomatoes and breadcrumbs. A secondi course of main entrées, includes Berkshire pork chop and beef braciole, and dolce for a sweet ending.
BLU ALEHOUSE
Blu Alehouse, offering New American dining and an upscale sports bar atmosphere, has opened at 855 St Georges Avenue, Woodbridge (732-750-4258). Menu items include: soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, ahi tuna, hanger steak, salmon, ribs, rack of lamb and cowboy rib eye. Open daily from 11:30 AM.
