Looking to sample tasty dishes from some of New Jersey’s top food trucks? Check out one of these food-truck festivals rolling through the state.

Some festivals have a small admission fee, with separate prices set by vendors for food and drink.

In addition to great eats, many have live music, kids’ activities and more. Some also benefit local charities.

Rockaway Food Truck and Music Festival • Fireman’s Field, Rockaway

July 29

All the food-truck fun runs from 11 am-7 pm. $5 admission, with kids under 5 free. Dogs are welcome.

Passaic County Food Festival • Weasel Brook Park, Clifton

July 29

From noon to 7 pm, enjoy more than a dozen food vendors, libations (including local craft beers) and live music from Naughty Humphrey and the Beverlees. There will be games and activities for all ages. Tickets are $5 (children 3 and under enter free); to avoid long lines, purchase beforehand.

Italian Festival & Wine Tasting • Monmouth Park, Oceanport

July 29-30

Local restaurants and food trucks are selling delicious Italian fare, while a $15 wine ticket gets you five 2-ounce samples of Italian wines, plus a commemorative glass. The event, presented by Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, goes from 11 am-5 pm both days.

Taco Palooza • Hilltop Field, Hopatcong

July 30

Sample tacos galore; drinks from a beer, sangria and margarita garden; and sweet treats. Activities for kids range from a rock wall and a bounce house to a petting zoo and pony rides. A corn hole tournament will take place. Dogs on leashes are welcome, as are chairs and blankets. Adult tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door; children under age five are free. Guests are asked to bring a nonperishable canned or boxed food item to support the local food pantry.

Want to skip cooking on a Wednesday night? This evening festival (4-9 pm) features award-winning food trucks amid live entertainment.
East Fern Road

Paramus Food Truck Festival • Paramus Park Mall, Paramus

August 13

This dog-friendly festival (11 am-7 pm) features up to 22 food trucks. Admission is $5 (kids under five enter free). Go to the mall’s East Main entrance, in front of the Old Navy and L.L.Bean.

Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival • Sea Isle City

August 25-26

Sea Isle City is dedicating a weekend to food trucks, games, live music and all kinds of family fun. It takes place from noon to 8 pm both days.

Liberty Corner Fire Food Truck and Music Festival • Bernards Township

August 27

A fundraiser for the all-volunteer fire company, this afternoon of family fun is happening rain or shine from 11 am to 6 pm. Expect food trucks, dessert trucks and a smoothie/bubble tea truck—plus live music, vendors, raffles, kids’ games, a magician and more. Alcohol will be available for purchase. Admission is $5; children under 5 are free.

Parsippany Food Truck & Music Fest • Parsippany

September 9

Spend a day at Veterans Memorial Park as summer winds down. There will be more than 15 food trucks and lots of cold libations. In addition to food and drinks, guests can enjoy live music, games, crafts and shopping from local vendors. Admission is $6 for all guests over age six.
