A new fast-casual eatery recently opened in Margate, just in time for summer. An Asian street food-inspired chain with a health-focused twist, Wokworks already has multiple locations and food carts in Philadelphia. Its first Jersey spot serves stir-fry, rice and noodle bowls, appetizers like Korean fried wings, dumplings and spring rolls, and a rotating selection of desserts like cake and soft-serve ice cream. Vegan and gluten-free options abound.

The Juice House, Montclair

This groovy juice shop recently opened its fifth Jersey location, following the popularity of its shops in New Providence, Garwood, Freehold and Union. Fresh juices, smoothies, bowls, wellness shots, and grab-and-go protein snacks are available. Current featured items at the new Montclair shop include a berry cherry smoothie (cherries, blueberries, pineapple and coconut yogurt), the Paradise pitaya bowl (strawberry, mango, pineapple, blackberry, kiwi, and coconut flakes), and De-Puff juice (kale, apple, lemon and ginger).

General Coffee Co., Morristown

Following the recent opening of Rey Sol, Morristown’s already got another new coffee spot! General Coffee Co, located in the heart of downtown Morristown, serves a variety of sustainable coffees, plus a market section with pastries, sandwiches, snacks and merch.

Key City Diner, Phillipsburg

After enduring a devastating electrical fire in 2022, the beloved Key City Diner, which had been operating for decades, has finally reopened for business. The Warren County eatery boasts a completely revamped interior with a modern flair. Although there are some new menu additions, longtime customers can rest easy knowing the diner classics remain.

Guerriero Gelato, Morristown

In January 2023, the team behind Guerriero Gelato opened its fifth location in Morristown. Last week, the team shared on Instagram that the location has been sold to annew owner. “It was a disservice to you spreading ourselves so thin and we know the new owner has the time to manage and make sure you have the experience you deserve,” the post reads. Guerriero still has locations in Teaneck, West Orange, Caldwell and Montclair.
