Celebrate the Centennial: Frank Sinatra Events

New Jersey pays tribute to Frank.

Dec 6:  The Sinatra Birthday Bash, an annual tradition at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, features special guest Joe Piscopo. 4 pm; $25-$79.50.

Dec 6:  The Frank Sinatra Bus Tour departs from the Hoboken Historical Museum, visiting several locales of Sinatra’s early years in Hoboken. Space is limited. 1-3 pm; $10.

Dec 6:  The Hoboken Historical Museum hosts a tribute concert featuring David Arellano, a retired police officer who won Hoboken’s Sinatra Idol contest in 2010. 4 pm; free.

Dec 12:  NJPAC in Newark hosts a Sinatra Centennial tribute concert featuring Michael Feinstein. 8 pm; $49-$100.

Dec 12:  The Hoboken Historical Museum, the City of Hoboken and Stevens Institute of Technology host a Centennial Birthday Party in the Bissinger Room on the Stevens campus. The event will feature live music by the Swingadelic Big Band with tribute singers Zack Alexander, Tony Corrao, Greg Myers, Dave Arellano, Peter Cafasso and John Bauers.  7-11 pm; VIP tickets, $150; general, $75.  201-420-2207.

Dec 19: Doolan’s Shore Club in Spring Lake hosts a tribute concert by Gerard Esposito and His Jazz Trio.  8 pm.

Through July 2016: “Frank Sinatra: The Man, The Voice and the Fans” at the Hoboken Historical Museum includes listening stations, interactive displays and videos, fan photographs and more.
