Trenton Pork Roll Festival

At Trention Social, cooks get creative with the salty meat, crafting everything from pork roll burgers to pork roll sushi burritos and, of course, pork roll, egg and cheese sandwiches. Enjoy all-day live music. Work up an appetite before the festival during the Pork Rollout, a bike tour of Trenton’s pork roll landmarks. Cruise by factories, stop by Riverview Cemetery to pay a visit to John Taylor and more. Tour ends at the festival. Must bring your own bike.
Festival, 10 am-10 pm; bike tour, 10:30 am; $5, admission; $18, admission and bike tour; VIP, $45.

Pork Roll Festival

This breakfast-lover’s bonanza boasts live music, a pork roll recipe contest and the crowning of the Pork Roll Queen at Mill Hill Park. Try concoctions such as pork-roll-topped cupcakes, pork roll mac ‘n’ cheese, pork roll meatballs and pork-roll-smothered tater tots. Prize Winning Plates, a local food truck, will be serving up pork roll and pepper jack waffles with candied pork roll and maple syrup. The festival is pet-friendly and will offer treats for four-legged friends.
10 am-7 pm; $5; $15 for four tickets.
