Airfest
Aug 30-Sept 2: Feel the thunder of aircraft as they zoom through the sky. There will be live music all weekend, a beer garden, food trucks and kids’ activities. WWII airplane rides available. $12-$16. Naval Air Station Wildwood, Cape May Airport, Rio Grande
Jr. Clamshell Pitching Tournament
Aug 30: The Rich Reinhart Junior Clamshell Pitching Tournament, named for the founder of the International Clamshell Pitching Club of Cape May, is free and open to kids ages 6 to 17. Each player tosses a clamshell about 25 feet towards a small hole in the sand. Shells are provided, or kids can bring their own lucky clamshell!

Bradley Beach Lobsterfest
Aug 31-Sept 1: The shellfish soiree promises live entertainment, 150 craft vendors, 25 food vendors and children’s activities.

Summer Send-Off Craft Show

Boar’s Head BBQ & Craft Beer Festival
Aug 31- Sept 2: It’s time for some finger-lickin’ good fun! Dig into juicy pulled pork, brisket and ribs. This Labor Day weekend, enjoy three days of delicious barbecue, a selection of brews, live music, and children’s activities, such as pony rides, a bounce house, face painting and more.

Viking Village Craft Show
Sept 1: Fine art, photography, ceramics, wood wares, clothing and more. With 70 vendors, there are endless one-of-a-kind items to peruse and buy.

World Championship Skee Ball Tournament
Sept 1: Each Labor Day Weekend, Ed’s Funcade on Lincoln Ave and Boardwalk hosts the World Championship Skee Ball Tournament. Players vie for skee-ball glory, a trophy, plus a $1000 Visa gift card.

Wildwood Block Party & Music Festival
Sept 1: This festival promises twelve hours of crafts, games, rides, food and continuous live entertainment at Fox Park. The line-up includes headliner Russell Thompkins Jr. & The New Stylistics, as well as The Trammps, Bittersweet, Just in Time, Jeremiah Hunter Band, Reign, an Earth Wind & Fire tribute band and more.

Sept 1: End summer with a bang at the Tropicana beachfront. See a mesmerizing fireworks display as well as a multimedia video and sound show.

Ocean City 5-Mile Run/Walk
Sept 2: Lace up your sneaks and get your heart pumping on Labor Day morning. Participate in the 5-mile run or walk to benefit Ocean City recreation scholarships and programs. After you’ve worked up an appetite, head to the Labor Day BBQ.
