For the Love of the Game

If you live and breathe baseball, consider getting into GameWear.

If you live and breathe baseball, consider getting into GameWear.

The Branchville-based company, run by Frank Cerullo and Nick Lovacchini, creates bracelets and necklaces cut from baseball seams, complete with logos for all 30 major league teams. “We think the product really speaks to people who are baseball fans, because it’s actually made from a baseball and that’s unique,” Cerullo says. “It represents the game in a way that a hat or a foam finger doesn’t.”

The company sells its products through its Web site, wearthegame.com, and at MLB stadiums around the country. Yankees merchandise is the top seller, with Red Sox gear not far behind.

GameWear also licenses products for individual major league players and for college teams, as well as for softball and basketball teams. “We’re continually working on new things,” Cerullo says. So don’t be surprised if you run across a GameWear representative selling football-seam bracelets and necklaces at an NFL game near you.
