This summer, you’re likely to notice fresh floral designs on the latest fabrics, wallpaper and mosaic tile.

“We love bringing the garden into the home through florals and the color green,” says Roy Marcus, brand ambassador for Artistic Tile in Secaucus. “This trend continues to pick up speed as we embrace the green philosophy in groundbreaking tile designs.”

Artistic Tile collaborated with New Jersey–based homeware designer Michael Aram to create polished black-and-white marble tile that celebrates the simple elegance of the orchid. The Aram Orchid is offered in a flat version that’s ideal for floors, while realistic, three-dimensional styles are a bold choice for a powder room or backsplash.

In keeping with this of-the-moment trend, another dramatic option is Walden Lilac mosaic tile (pictured).

“Thanks to the latest in water-jet technology, we can cut tiles in shapes that would not have been possible in the past,” Marcus says. “Virtually anything is achievable in customized mosaic designs nowadays.”

Artistic Tile has showrooms in Paramus and Shrewsbury, with a slab gallery at the Secaucus headquarters.
