Each year, New Jersey Monthly presents the Great Oak Awards to recognize exemplary Garden State businesses for their work on behalf of social and charitable causes and non-profits.
The Great Oak Awards name is emblematic of the companies we salute. Sturdy and solid, deeply rooted in New Jersey, capable of impressive growth and able to change with the times—these businesses are pillars of their communities. They are in it for the long haul. They are not just generous, but inventive and enterprising in the ways they give back.
New Jersey Monthly is now accepting nominations for next year’s program. It’s the ultimate way to honor NJ-based companies for their locally targeted philanthropy. Anyone can nominate a charitable business and it takes only minutes to submit an online nomination form. The nomination deadline is January 13, 2017.
The most generous nominees will be named finalists and our expert panel of judges will then select the top 10 honorees in the small, medium and large company categories. Winners will be announced at an awards dinner in 2017 and featured in a future issue of New Jersey Monthly magazine.
