In the annual ritual of designers strutting their best stuff in showhouses throughout the state, there is always one sandout- Mansion in May. This year was no exception.

Staged at Froh Heim, a rambling country estate in Far Hills, the event drew more than 18,000 attendees during its 31 days. Coordinating this extravaganza is no small feat: A volunteer force of more than 1,000 individuals worked alongside teams of interior designers, architects, and dozens of landscape architects, to transform this remarkable yet dated mansion into an up-to-date designer showcase.
