What do you do?: My role is to ensure the efficient and seamless coordination of patient care. Anyone who is not a registered nurse or physician reports to me. My staff is really the front line of the cancer center, from the valet and the concierge desk to medical record maintenance and the billing department.
What’s best about your work?: I have the ability to be hands-on here, roll up my sleeves, and get the work done that needs to be done. You get that fast-paced environment, but you also have the ability to really learn new things each day, discover new things about yourself and really connect with patients and families.
