Seeds of Hope Celebrates Local Heroes

The 2017 Seeds of Hope honorees proudly serve New Jersey.

All around the Garden State, an impressive number of New Jerseyans dedicate their time and resources to bettering their communities. To highlight the everyday heroes behind such charitable commitments, New Jersey Monthly recognizes the state’s most outstanding volunteers with the annual Seeds of Hope Awards.

The 2017 honorees were chosen from 76 nominees by our panel of four judges: Jeanne Cretella, president of Landmark Hospitality; Michele Epifani, executive director of the Volunteer Center of South Jersey; Mike Murphy, senior vice president of QuickChek; and Anne Prisco, president of Felician University.

The honorees will be saluted at a luncheon on September 27 at Crystal Plaza in Livingston. The event is sponsored by PNC Wealth Management and the Crystal Plaza.
