The Garden State Seeds of Hope

New Jersey Monthly's program to recognize outstanding volunteers in our great state.

New Jersey is home to an amazing array of volunteers committed to bettering their communities and the lives of their neighbors. To honor those extraordinary individuals—from the fund-raiser to the dedicated volunteer—New Jersey Monthly created the annual Seeds of Hope program.

Do you know someone who deserves recognition? Each year, supervisors, colleagues, and friends nominate individuals who spend their personal time working toward the greater good. Nominators must describe in writing what the nominee does and why he or she deserves praise.

Honorees are selected by our distinguished panel of judges, which changes from year to year and includes people with a deep understanding of volunteerism. The annual honorees are profiled in our September issue and formally recognized at a luncheon in the fall.

The program is sponsored by PNC Wealth Management and Crystal Plaza in Livingston.
