The events, which span Valentine’s Weekend, run the gamut from food tasting (Chocolate by Jacques Torres, February 13 and 14, $40) to match making (Speed Dating with VH1 “Tough Love” hosts Steve and Joann Ward, February 14, $50) to a burlesque show (speaks for itself, yes? February 14, $40).
As you can tell from the events, HeartAC is not exclusively for couples. In fact, if you’re single and looking, HeartAC is a good place to start on the sappiest weekend of the year.
HeartAC is put together by Harrah’s, so the events are at four of its properties: Harrah’s, Showboat, Bally’s and Caesar’s. Check heartac.com for event locations and ticket details.
If you’re feeling especially amorous, you can join in the Atlantic City Group Valentine Wedding on February 14 at Boardwalk Hall. But remember, this isn’t Vegas. To get hitched, you have to get a license and sign up in advance at atlanticcitynj.com. HeartAC is in its first year, but the mass civil union ceremony is an annual thing in AC.
