Dog Days for Camden Riversharks

Does your pup shag tennis balls like a pro? Think fetch is an earth-bound version of heaven? Then he or she might be the perfect companion to see the Camden Riversharks on June 27 at Campbell’s Field.

The team’s Dog Days of Summer event is for four-legged fans and their owners. For every $11 ticket you buy, $5 is donated to the Animal Welfare Association, a shelter and low-cost spay and neuter clinic in Voorhees. Since 2000, the association has also run the Camden Project, which provides vet services and pet education for Camden residents and their pets.

So you’ll be helping a great organization and catching a baseball game (the Riversharks will be facing the Long Island Ducks) for a fraction of major league prices.

For instructions on how to get your best friend into the game, and to make sure your ticket purchase benefits the Animal Welfare Association, check out their events website.
