The cable channel’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” with Guy Fieri will feature a segment profiling Maui’s Dog House in North Wildwood, along with other sandwich shops in Minneapolis and Spokane. The spot was filmed at the Dog House this past summer during an all-day carnival of cameras, interviews and typical Fieri frenzy. The episode, titled “Sandwiches Plus,” will air on at 9 p.m. Saturday and feature a behind-the-scenes look at the legendary sandwich shop’s recipes, preparations and feverish summertime atmosphere.
