Meanwhile, the Wildwoods Convention Center will host the Big Show Ocean Invitational, a hand-picked selection of high-end specialty cars, as well as the Big Show Car Corral, which features a variety of cars for sale by private owners. The Big Show Ocean Invitational and Big Show Car Corral will be open on Friday from noon–9 pm, Saturday from 9 am–9 pm and Sunday from 10 am–1 pm. Free.

‘Boots at the Beach’ Country Music Festival

Sept 17–19: The annual festival returns to the North Wildwood Entertainment District along Olde New Jersey Avenue Friday, September 17, through Sunday, September 19. This year’s event will feature three full days of country music, vendors, crafts, food and more. Free.

The Downbeach Seafood Festival

Sept 18–19: Ventnor’s Ski Beach will be turned into a seafood lover’s dream as approximately 25 to 30 restaurants and purveyors serve up their favorite seafaring dishes. Also, to honor National Hunger Action Month, the festival will support the Community Food Bank of New Jersey through its widely popular Chowder Cook-Off. A $10 donation is all it takes to sample some of the best chowder in the county, and all proceeds benefit the food bank. Additional programming includes fun activities for kids, live music, a crab cake–eating competition and more. 11 am–7 pm. $10; children 12 and under, free.
