1. Raising Funds for Stanley M. Grossman Pediatric Center

AtlantiCare Young Professionals donated nearly $5,000 to the Stanley M. Grossman Pediatric Center at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Atlantic City Campus. 2. Finding Homes for Homeless Animals

Unique Photo raised $1,000 for Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter in support of finding homes for homeless cats and dogs. Marking the occasion were Christine Conte, left, of Mt. Pleasant; Alexander Sweetwood, president of Unique Photo; and Abby Berenbak of Mt. Pleasant.
3. K9s for Warriors

Stryker Orthopaedics made a $20,000 donation to K9s for Warriors for the sponsorship of a service dog. Bill Huffnagle, left, president of Stryker’s Joint Replacement Division in Mahwah, joined Shari Duval, founder of K9s for Warriors, Army and Marine veteran James Brereton, and his service dog, Bernie, in celebrating.
4. Supporting South Jersey Volunteers

The Volunteer Center of South Jersey (VCSJ) received $7,000 from the Investors Foundation and the Roma Community Bank Foundation for its Family Volunteer Program and the new SJWorks program. Celebrating were, from left, Cody Miller, board president of VCSJ; Shannon Morgan-Leonen of Investors Bank; and Michele Epifani and Marguerite Stubbs of VCSJ.
5. $100 for 100 Children in Need

Joyal Capital Management Foundation provided gift cards to children in need at the $100 for 100 event at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Union. Clients from the Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women participated in the event. In attendance were Patty Kremen, left, of NCJW/Essex, Andrea Spielman, right, and her children, Tommy, Ava and Gianna.
6. Presenting the Codey Award at Carrier Clinic’s Kindred Spirit Gala
