Giving Back: Eden Autism’s 29th Annual Eden Dreams Gala Raises $225,000

1. Supporting Programs for Children and Adults with Autism

Eden Autism’s 29th annual Eden Dreams Gala raised $225,000 to benefit Eden’s programs for children and adults with autism. 2. Scholarships for Ocean County College Freshmen

Jon H. Larson, center, president of Ocean County College, happily accepts a $50,000 check from Christopher D. Maher, left, and John R. Garbarino of the OceanFirst Foundation of Toms River. The grant will fund $1,000 scholarships for 50 full-time freshmen from high schools in Ocean and Monmouth counties.

3. Recognizing an Outstanding Physician

Dr. Frank Vosos, left, was the recipient of the Physician Leadership Award at Monmouth Medical Center Foundation’s (MMCF) 44th annual Crystal Ball Gala. 4. Raising Funds for the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation

The Gym in Englewood and Montvale raised $10,000 in support of the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation. Marking the occasion were, from left, front row: Reggie Pettway, Lisa Bruchalski, Hayley Dinerman and Nurit Chasman; back row: Shantel Ellis, Mike Fasulo, Michael Feeks and Jeff Rivers.

5. Toys for Tots

New Jersey Applebee’s locations donated $113,000 to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) to benefit its Toys for Tots program. From left, Christopher Lopa, Kevin Coughlin and John Antosiewicz, all of Applebee’s, present a check to Staff Sergeant Ramon Perez, USMC.

6. Eco-Friendly Water Bottle Filling Station Unveiling

Students from Warren Hills High School collaborated with ShopRite of Washington Township to raise money for an eco-friendly water-bottle filling station at the school.
