Giving Back: Grow It Green Morristown Gets $25,000 Check Supporting Fresh, Local Food

Plus: Scholarships are awarded, golfers tee up for a shared cause, a fun run helps tackle kids cancer and more.

 Sandra Florent, left, of Kings Food Markets, presented Abby Gallo of Grow It Green Morristown with a $25,000 check at the organization’s Diamonds for Kale gala. The nonprofit’s mission is to create sustainable farms and gardens that provide equal access to fresh, local food.

3. Golf To Save Lives

The fifth annual Team Courtney Golf Outing raised $13,000 for New Jersey Sharing Network and its mission to save and enhance lives through organ and tissue donation. 4. A Fashionable Cause

P.G. Chambers School alumni, from left, Robert, Caitlyn and Victoria, styled the runway looks at the 21st annual Menus for the Mind luncheon. The event raised $225,000 to support the school’s mission to provide the best, most comprehensive education and therapy programs for children with special needs.
