1. Light of Day

2. American Heart Month

Tricia Paolucci, left, regional director of Northern New Jersey for the American Heart Association, happily accepts a $500 check from Regan DeBenedetto of the Shannon Rose Irish Pub, which raised funds for the American Heart Association at its Clifton and Ramsey locations during American Heart Month in February.
3. Supporting Theatre

George Street Playhouse raised nearly $400,000 in support of its main-stage and educational programming at its annual gala benefit. Enjoying the event were, from left: Stephen Bienskie, Sarah Litzsinger, George Street Playhouse artistic director David Saint and Colin Hanlon.
4. Raising Awareness For Mitochondrial Disease

The Investors Foundation donated $5,000 to the Delaware Valley Energy for Life Walkathon to benefit the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation. Marking the occasion were Eric Mullin, left, Carrie Mullin, far right, and their son Patrick, and Shannon Morgan-Leonen and Linda Martin of Investors.
5. Scholarships for Culinary Students

The Joe Romanowski Culinary Education Foundation awarded $32,500 in scholarships to eight students at the Culinary Education Center in Asbury Park. Recipients include, from left, Lindsay Lewallen, Troy Woodginski, Beth Estelle, Kendall Szpakowski, Courtney Dean, Alexandra Dennis, HayLee Carscadden and Meghan Trivett.
6. Fostering Partnerships

Project ECHO, a new Robert Wood Johnson Partners Pediatric Developmental and Behavioral Health initiative, fosters partnerships between primary care providers and specialists.
