Style: The interior of this traditional Italian restaurant blends upscale luxury with a country-lodge feel.
Don’t Miss: Gourmet pizzas come in individual, small, and large ($10.99, $14.99, and $16.99), so you can tailor your meal to the number of people in your party. The 10-inch individual meat lover’s pie is a mouth-watering combination of pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, bacon, and ground beef that will leave your belt tight but your wallet heavy. The new Thai chicken pizza is topped with strips of chicken and assorted vegetables with sweet hoisin sauce. There’s plenty to choose from on the voluminous menu, which combines Italian creations such as stromboli ($7.59) stuffed with pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, onion, and mozzarella, with more adventurous fare, like the Angus beef, pepper-jack cheese, and jalapeño-laden 3-Alarm Burger ($7.59). From pasta specialty entrées like the four-cheese sacchetti ($11.99) and crab ravioli ($18.99) to flat-iron steak pizzaiola ($18.99)—a delicious blend of peppers, mushrooms, plum tomatoes, and onions served over a garlic-marinated flat-iron steak—there’s something for every palate. Oh, and don’t forget the loaded cheese fries with homemade chili ($5.99).
Heads Up: Gourmet Italian Cuisine has private dining rooms available for special events. The spacious bar and lounge area and affable and informed staff make the venue appealing for any occasion.
The Scoop: The restaurant is associated with Gourmet Liquors, just down the road, so diners have the benefit of selecting fine wines from all over the world off an impressive list. Catering and take-out are also available.Click here to leave a comment
