Don’t Miss: The Fog City-style crab cakes served with citrus aioli ($12 dinner appetizer on arugula; $14 lunch sandwich served on Pullman bread). The lump crab meat is juicy and the aioli offers just the right measure of sweetness. The salads are also good for starters or midday meals. Choose from the classic Caesar salad with herbed croutons ($9), the baby spinach with toasted walnuts ($9), or the iceberg wedge with a generous dollop of bleu cheese dressing ($8). For lunch, the Belgium classic mussels and fries ($10) are terrific. The fries are hand-cut and tender mussels are served in a fragrant bath of shallots, white wine, and garlic. Another good bet is the turkey melt ($12)—smoked turkey, brie, and a dijon remoulade that adds a twist to an old favorite. The dinner menu has tasty options for seafood lovers—pan-seared scallops ($24), grilled rainbow trout ($23), and cod bouillabaisse ($24). Carnivores also have much to choose from: braised lamb shank with lamb jus and whipped purple potatoes ($23), beef and mushroom hot-pot ($16), and grilled hanger steak ($24).
Heads Up: A bar menu is offered in the spacious, lively lounge, where you can try signature drinks such as Superfly, a concoction of vodka, Limoncello, lemon juice, and iced tea ($8).
The Scoop: Porch seating is available during warm weather, and there are several spaces for private parties.Click here to leave a comment
