STYLE
A view of Lake Lefferts from the dining room elevates the experience. In the softly lit bar, you can watch TVs and the sushi chef at work.
THE SCOOP
In June of 2010, co-owners Rob Webster and Angelo DiCapua opened the first MJ’s in Tinton Falls. Now the duo owns eight locations across Central and South Jersey. MJ’s has been voted one of the best sports bars by the Asbury Park Press.

THE MENU
The diner-esque variety covers all cravings. Start with crisp chicken-and-lemongrass potstickers, served with a tangy ginger-soy dipping sauce. Other appetizers include hot and spicy shrimp, sliders on sweet Hawaiian rolls, and mesquite-chicken quesadillas. Entrées range from sandwiches with pulled pork, caramelized onions, house-made chipotle BBQ sauce and creamy coleslaw to Buffalo chicken pizza with hot sauce and mozzarella. (Pizza available in traditional, whole wheat, gluten-free or thin crust). Sushi rolls include the spider roll with soft-shell crab and avocado. Finish with the MJ’s Sundae—vanilla or chocolate ice cream topped with caramel, chocolate and crunchy wet nuts.
HEADS UP
Specials are offered nearly every day. Monday is half-off bottles of wine; $10 two-taco Tuesdays; 60 cent boneless wings Wednesdays; build-your-own-burger Thursdays; and $6 sangria Saturdays.
