THE SCOOP
Opened in 2010 in Tinton Falls, MJ’s now has eight Central and South Jersey locations serving up a huge variety of bar favorites, sandwiches and entrées.
THE MENU
With its sports-bar vibe, menu items like fried calamari and Bavarian-style soft pretzels are tasty starters. There is a long list of wing options and burgers with all kinds of fixings. Salads and wraps, like the blackened-chicken Caesar, which gets roasted red peppers and a dusting of Creole seasoning for a little kick, are good picks. A handful of tacos are offered, and pizzas are available in three sizes, as signature pies or with pick-your-own toppings.
Entrées include a host of chicken dishes—parm, Française, stir fry—plus pasta, fish and chips, steak,and braised ribs. If patrons still need more options, there’s even a sushi menu chock-full of traditional and specialty rolls, poke bowls and salads. Enjoy the Japanese-inspired fare with a sake-based cocktail.
