Large and bright, but easily overlooked in a busy strip mall between bustling Routes 88 and 70. A few booths line one wall, with plenty of tables in the neon-painted room.  

THE SCOOP

Popular with regulars and welcoming to newcomers, Pho Tastic serves lunch and dinner every day but Monday. The staff, welcoming to all, happily helps those new to Vietnamese cuisine. Orders are taken promptly, and food arrives without a long wait. 

THE MENU

Traditional Vietnamese plates in approachable form. The #4 chicken wings, sweet-and-sour glazed, nestle amid sweet onions and bell peppers. As for classic pho noodles, the namesake dish delivers. Other specialties include lo meins and standout chicken and vegetables. Bún dishes—bowls of rice vermicelli with shredded lettuce, mint, peanut topping and bean sprouts—are delicious and available with tofu, pork, shrimp, chicken or beef. Drinks include Vietnamese coffee, iced or hot, and boba smoothies and teas.
