Don’t Miss: Meaty crab cakes, lightly fried and paired with spicy tartar sauce. Also superb are lobster-and-crab ravioli in tomato cream sauce. Satisfying specials included spicy grilled tuna with corn-avocado relish and pork chops stuffed with ham, spinach, and feta in pesto-cream sauce. The subtle honey vinaigrette is the best salad dressing.

Heads-Up: Portions are hearty, so if your “potbelly” is full it’s worth ordering the excellent house-made carrot cake, caramel-apple streusel cheesecake, or chocolate-mousse pie to go.
The Scoop: This homey, recently renovated one-time produce market beside the Rockaway River features well-prepared food and pleasant, attentive service. More than 20 sandwiches are offered at lunch, as well as plenty of salads and soups. The $5 kids’ meals include fries and a drink.
