Hours: Lunch daily from 11 am; dinner nightly from 5:00 pm.

Style: Trendy brick faux-urban warehouse meets the sea. The hip interior even extends to the bathrooms. They are awesome—very large and modern, with clean lines, an ultra-cool communal sink, and private frosted glass-door stalls.
Don’t Miss: Go for an appetizer as an entrée; they’re large enough to share or have in place of a full meal. The Charleston crab soup ($9) is a “Princeton Pick,” prepared in the classic she-crab style. The stock is rich and creamy, with a slight taste of sherry and a respectable amount of crab meat. The goat-cheese bruschetta ($9) with sliced and toasted baguette on the side had way too much bread for the amount of tomato and cheese. The raspberry-and-almond baked brie ($11) in a puff pastry, is deliciously gooey and complements the well of crisp sliced apples.
Heads Up: If you’re lucky enough to be staying in Avalon and want to have a few cocktails, take advantage of the free Princeton Shuttle bus service. They offer local door-to-door service from 5-10 pm.
The Scoop: In the summer, the gigantic glass windows open to a chic patio for alfresco dining and drinks.
