Style: Sports bar with requisite flat screens in the quaint dining room and bar, but with a more rustic decor than most sports-themed restaurants. The sports photos on the wall are framed and neatly hung, and the exposed stone walls and comfy couches in the bar conjure a lodge setting.

Don’t miss: The sandwiches. PSBG offers specialties, such as Carnegie crab cakes, signature steak and other dishes that range from $19 to $25, but its basic burger, sandwich and wrap selection can’t be beat. Try the PSBG signature burger, made with black Angus beef and served with bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheddar, onion rings, jalapeno peppers and BBQ sauce ($12). Other good picks are the open-faced hot turkey sandwich on a kaiser roll with gravy and cranberries ($9) and the brick-oven pizzas ($9-$12). Pasta selections include gnocchi sorrentino with marinara sauce, mozzarella and pesto ($15), and tortellone Toscana, cheese-filled pasta served with mushrooms, prosciutto and asparagus in a Parmigiano-Reggiano sauce ($19).

Heads Up: Although there are meters on both sides of Nassau Street, your best parking bet is the garage located at the end of South Tulane Street on Spring Street. It’s a short walk to where South Tulane meets Nassau Street. PSBG is on that corner.

The Scoop: Happy hour, Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 pm, has great deals, including a variety of $2.50 beer, wine and mixed drinks and a menu of $5 food items, such as wings, bruschetta, personal pizzas and cheese quesadillas. PSBG also offers beer specials on the weekend.
