Quick Bite

Redstone American Grill

Redstone American Grill
The Promenade at Sagemore
500 Route 73, South Marlton
856-396-0332, redstonegrill.com

Hours: Mon–Thurs, 11 am to 1 am, Fri and Sat, 11 am–2 am, and Sun, 10 am–10 pm.

Style: An indoor/outdoor grill with rustic flair, despite chain-restaurant status.

Don’t Miss: The buffalo jumbo shrimp ($15), are a surprisingly sweet start to your meal—not over salted like many buffalo sauces. For a lighter lunch, the flatbread pizzas are thin and crisp. If you like traditional tomato and mozzarella pizza, go for the Original ($9). For something a little different, try the Romantic ($12), which is roasted chicken, wild mushrooms, and truffle oil. You can’t go wrong with the burgers, either. The Kobe burger ($16), Kobe beef topped with gruyere cheese, tomatoes, and onions, is a best bet.

Heads Up: Redstone is a busy lunch spot—it’s located near a lot of office parks off routes 70 and 73. The wide, shaded and heated (in fall and winter) outdoor deck is popular at night, and don’t be surprised if you see some professional football players among the patrons. Many Philadelphia Eagles live in the area. Weekend brunch is popular, too—you’ll get a free cinnamon roll and mimosa or glass of Champagne with your meal.

The Scoop: Redstone is a chain restaurant, but a small one—the Marlton location is the only one in New Jersey, and its closest sibling is in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania (the rest are in the Midwest).
