Don’t Miss:
The omelets served at breakfast (7 am to 2 pm, daily) are well proportioned and reasonably priced. The shrimp scampi omelet ($10.99) and Italiano omelet ($8.99) are unique takes on tried-and-true breakfast orders. The extensive list of side orders—hash browns, creamed chipped beef, and baked crumb cake will set you right to start your day. The Fruit and Nut Salad ($12)—chicken salad over greens with Mandarin oranges, walnuts, dried cherries, and feta cheese—is a favorite among regulars. Homestyle dinners run the gamut from meatloaf ($13.99) to slow-cooked roast pork loin ($13.99) and chicken Surf City ($18.99)—grilled chicken topped with sautéed spinach, roasted pepper, fresh mozzarella, and finished with a hint of marinara sauce. There is also a variety of seafood, Italian, vegetarian, and low-carb conscious dishes, and a children’s menu.

Heads Up: Try to snag a seat outdoors, where the back deck overlooks the historic Tuckerton Seaport.

The Scoop:
A second Scojo’s is located on Long Beach Island (Surf City). It is a hot spot for summer guests grabbing a quick bite or planning a nice lunch between trips to the beach.
