Signature Subs: The Bread Board Plus in Haddonfield

Founded more than 30 years ago as a spin-off of one of the original Jersey Mike’s sub shops, subs and sandwiches are still what the Bread Board Plus does best.

The Bread Board Plus
Haddonfield
605 Haddon Avenue
856-354-0333

Open: Breakfast, lunch and dinner; daily

Style: Casual, upscale neighborhood deli with an all-you-can-eat salad bar and a large seating area featuring both booths and tables. One wall sports a mural of the town’s burgeoning Haddon Avenue shopping and restaurant area.

The Scoop: The Bread Board Plus was founded more than 30 years ago as a spin-off of one of the original Jersey Mike’s sub shops. Jason Wiseley, whose family owns Haddonfield’s Wiseley Jewelers, has owned the deli since 2006 and oversaw its renovation in 2012.

The Menu: Soups and salads are offered, but subs and sandwiches are what Bread Board Plus does best. Customize your own, or go for a signature like the Italian (pictured) or the D-Money, with breaded chicken, bacon, American cheese, lettuce and tomato. Subs come in four sizes: quarter, third, half or whole. Other options include vegetarian wraps and a burger.

Heads Up: All sandwiches are made with fresh bread and rolls baked and delivered daily from Deluxe Bakery in Runnemede and Del Buono’s in Haddon Heights.
